I graduated from University Paris 2 Pantheon Assas in Paris with a major in strategic management and entrepreneurship in 2018. Additionally, I was awarded the title of Miss Arab World Next Top Model for two consecutive years, in 2019 and 2020. My strong passion lies in everything related to media and entertainment, especially in the MENA region and beyond.
Tell us about your education.
In my pursuit of higher education, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from ESC Rennes in France. I continued my academic journey by obtaining my Master’s research degree in Strategic Evolutionism and Technology from the University of Versailles, where I was the top performer. I later joined Paris 2 Pantheon Assas for a second professional Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, where I was an apprentice project chief manager at EDF France. After completing my studies, I began working as a project chief manager for PSA France for a year before I joined the beauty pageant.
How did you get interested in the media field and what lead you to be a TV presenter?
I am deeply interested in the media field for various reasons. Firstly, I find it fascinating to have the power to influence public opinion and shape the way people perceive the world around them. Through my work, I aim to provide a platform for people to express their opinions on various topics and engage in meaningful conversations.
Furthermore, I have always been fascinated by the role of media in shaping culture and society. The ability to reach and connect with a massive audience is a powerful tool, and I want to use this platform for good, to promote positive change and a more inclusive society. It’s an exciting and dynamic field that is constantly evolving, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
My natural comfort in front of the camera and my love for being on camera influenced my decision to become a TV presenter. I have always been comfortable expressing myself through words and gestures, and I find that the camera gives me an opportunity to do just that. I enjoy presenting stories in a way that captures the audience’s attention and keeps them engaged. It’s an incredible feeling to be able to share stories and experiences with people from all over the world through the power of media, and I feel fortunate to be doing what I love.
How did you found your way to be a presenter at MBC group?
I applied to join MBC one year in advance and spent a year honing my TV presenting skills. My determination to succeed led me to audition four times before finally receiving that coveted call. It was a challenging journey, but the experience taught me the value of persistence and hard work. I am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way and am constantly striving to improve my skills as a TV presenter.
What special preparations do you do before presenting?
As a TV presenter, there are a few crucial steps I take to prepare myself for each show. Firstly, our team conducts thorough research on the subject and celebrity guests hours before we go live. This ensures that we have insightful and relevant questions to ask, and we can provide our audience with valuable information.
Additionally, while we have a dedicated team to write the scripts, I personally like to be involved in the writing process, occasionally contributing to the content. It helps me better understand the flow of the show and makes me feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
Managing stress is also vital in a live show, which is why it’s critical to be familiar with the papers given to us before each episode. We also need to be ready for any unexpected events, such as a celebrity canceling their interview last minute. In such situations, we need to adapt quickly and find alternative topics to discuss with our guests. It’s all about being agile and keeping the audience engaged, no matter what challenges arise.
Who has been your biggest mentor and supporter in your journey?
My mentor was a person very dear to my heart, whose support and encouragement helped me achieve my dreams. Through thick and thin, he stood by my side and guided me in the right direction. I owe much of my success to his unwavering belief in me. His guidance and mentorship made all the difference and I will always cherish the memories and lessons learned from him.
What is your biggest achievement so far?
Speaking a dialect that is white Arabic, closely resembling Lebanese, was a challenge for me, given that it wasn’t my primary language. Moreover, standing in front of the camera while it was live often meant that my heart would race uncontrollably especially in the beginning ,adding to the difficulty of the task.
In addition to these challenges, I have faced my fair share of jealousy and criticism Nevertheless, I continued to stand my ground and face the camera head-on, refusing to let negativity dampen my enthusiasm.
All these obstacles were enormous challenges for me, but I refused to let them hinder my passion for TV presenting. Instead, I pushed myself to improve my language skills and enhance my performance in front of the camera. Perseverance and determination were fundamental to my success, and I am grateful for every experience that has helped shape me into the presenter I am today.
What is your motto in life?
Life has no limits except for those we impose on ourselves through our mindset. I once had two close friends, both the same age. One of them was always complaining despite his privileged circumstances, while the other faced and overcame a range of difficulties to achieve her goals and find success.
The difference between them was simple. While one was determined to persevere and succeed, the other made excuses and expected life to be easy. By adopting a proactive mindset, however, my successful friend was able to overcome every obstacle in her way.
This experience taught me that the key to success is a combination of hard work, perseverance, and a positive mindset. Rather than limit ourselves through preconceived notions, we should embrace any challenge that comes our way and look for opportunities to grow and learn. Ultimately, it is our mindset that shapes our experiences and determines the quality of our lives.
