QF entity to welcome key speakers from renowned global institutions and leading experts in pediatric critical care
Sidra Medicine, the leading healthcare provider in Qatar under Qatar Foundation, will host the first-ever Gulf Pediatric Critical Care Conference “Forging Connections: Enhancing Care for Critically Ill Children” from 23-26 January, 2025.
The landmark conference is the first of its kind to be held in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and will feature local and international speakers and experts to discuss the latest advancements and best practices in pediatric critical care and intensive care (PICU). Key topics will include innovative strategies, clinical developments, and interdisciplinary collaboration that can enhance care for critically ill children.
The conference will host an exceptional lineup of global leaders in pediatric critical care. Dr. Ricardo Munoz, Chief of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine at Children’s National Hospital, will present on “Brain in the Cardiac Intensive Care” and “Critical Care Monitoring in the AI Era,” sharing his expertise in cardiac intensive care and telemedicine. At the resuscitation mini-symposium, Dr. Vinay Nadkarni of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will deliver the plenary lecture, “Advances in Pediatric Resuscitation,” followed by Dr. Barney Scholefield from SickKids Hospital in Toronto, who will cover post-resuscitation neuro-critical care.
