Lebanese director Habib Sadaka reimagines AMI Paris’ iconic Lover’s Bench in Beirut for Labor Day.

Originally recognized as a symbol of romance in major cities such as Paris, London, and New York, the bench takes on a new meaning in Beirut becoming a tribute to workers’ dignity and the universal right to rest.
Set in the heart of Martyrs’ Square, the campaign transforms a global design icon into a local social statement, where fashion meets culture and purpose.

Through clean and minimal visuals, the project raises a powerful question: Why is something as essential as rest still considered a luxury for so many workers?
By bringing the Lover’s Bench to Beirut in a new context, the campaign redefines love not only as romance, but also as care, respect, and balance that every person deserves.
