CP Magazine is honored to present an exclusive interview with the dynamic Lulwa Boureki. At 32, Lulwa is a prominent figure in physical education, sports training, and fashion. A proud Kuwaiti, her journey reflects dedication, versatility, and a passion for excellence.

Lulwa holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s degree in sports training. She is a certified diving, swimming, and football coach, as well as a flying and athletics referee. As the Head of the Physical Education Department, she uses her skills to enhance student performance and foster innovation in teaching.

Beyond sports, Lulwa has a deep interest in fashion, inspired by her mother. She aims to become an international fashion blogger and designer, creating a brand that embodies elegance and sophistication. She admires iconic figures like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Jacqueline Kennedy.

Lulwa is also a decorated athlete, with first-place finishes in athletics championships and judging tournaments. Her achievements include presenting lectures and earning certified trainer courses, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Lulwa Hamed Othman Boureki, and I am the Head of the Physical Education Department.
I am a diving coach, a swimming coach, and a football coach. I am also a referee for flying and athletics. Besides my work in sports, I am very interested in fashion and style.

Tell us about your education.
I have a bachelor’s degree from the College of Basic Education, where I specialized in physical education. I also have a master’s degree in sports training.

What skills do you think are important for working in teaching and education?
Working in teaching and education requires many important skills. Effective communication with students and their parents is crucial. It is also important to have skills in guidance and motivation. Creative thinking is another key skill because it helps me come up with new ideas for teaching, which improves the students’ learning and achievement.

How has your master’s degree helped you in your career?
Having a master’s degree makes my CV stand out from others. It provides me with better job opportunities and helps improve my job security. It also allows me to contribute to spreading goals and research in my field.

How do you use your PADI diving license in your teaching?
The title of my master’s degree research was “The Effect of Specific Underwater Training on Some Diving Skills Among People with Paraplegia in the State of Kuwait.” For this research, I needed to have a diving license to train people with paraplegia.

What do you enjoy most about coaching volleyball?
It is important for a player to master the basic skills of the game. They also need to be able to implement individual plans, whether defensive or offensive. This helps in developing talented volleyball players and improving their performance.

What drew you to the world of modeling and what are some of your goals?
I have been interested in fashion since I was young. I used to watch the fashion world and learn how to coordinate colors. My mother always encouraged me to become a fashion blogger and work in the fashion industry. My goal is to be an international fashion blogger and to have my own brand.

How would you describe your personal fashion style?
Elegance, sophistication, respect for my own features and the use of the most successful secrets that apply to different clothing items and styles.

How do you stay updated on fashion trends?
I follow fashion influencers and designers on social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest. I also read fashion magazines and blogs, watch fashion shows, and attend fashion events.

Who are your fashion icons?
My fashion icons are Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Jacqueline Kennedy. Audrey Hepburn is known for her classic and wonderful look in black. Grace Kelly always looks classic, sophisticated, and elegant. Jacqueline Kennedy is always elegant and simple at the same time.

What’s your favorite piece of clothing in your wardrobe right now?
Yes, I have a formal piece that my mother bought for me. It is very special to me and it is pink in color.

What is your fitness and beauty regime?
My regime includes sports, rest, and positive energy.

What are some of your greatest achievements so far?
I came in first place in the athletics championship and also in the athletics judging tournament. I obtained a certified trainer course and have presented lectures at my workplace.

What words best describe your outlook on life?
Peace and optimism best describe my outlook on life.

Do you have a favorite quote?
I love inspirational and encouraging quotes, like “Success is the end result of good work.” These phrases inspire me and push me forward.

What are your other interests?
I am also interested in decoration, furniture, and design.

What are your future goals?
I want to become a fashion designer and open my own clothing brand.
