Introducing Ranim Chayeb: Lebanese journalist, TV presenter, and aspiring master’s student in sociology. Fueled by a childhood dream, Ranim found her passion for media, driven by a desire to understand the world more realistically. Beyond her on-screen presence, she is the founder of Perluxe, a jewelry brand reflecting her love for the sea. With a penchant for horse-riding, reading, and writing, Ranim finds happiness in family, kindness, and caring for her pets. Her motto, “Don’t say I wish, say I will,” underscores her commitment to hard work. In this interview, Ranim shares insights into her journey, dreams, and the joy she finds in every moment.
Please introduce yourself to our readers:
Hello! I am Ranim, a Lebanese journalist and TV presenter.
Tell us about your education:
I am a very social person and I have always been interested in human relationships and that is why I studied sociology. My love and passion for understanding the world more realistically led me to media, and now I’m studying for a masters degree.
What are your fondest childhood memories?
Spending time at my grandparents house. I miss my grandma so much and I always think about all the beautiful memories we made together and how blessed I was to have her in my life. I would not trade these memories for the world.
How and when did you get interested in the media field?? Who inspired you?
I’ve always had an interest in this domain. It was always a childhood dream to become a presenter.
I used to observe how presenters spoke and acted when I was young.
What sparked your interest in journalism and TV presenting?
If you love learning new things, journalism may be the perfect field for you. As a journalist, part of your job will be to inquire new information and ask “why?” Question to find out more and personally I like the challenge of being objective, deep and searching for the real story beneath the surface.
What special preparations you do before presenting a show?
Well nothing really special. I wake up, prepare myself, rehearse a bit and that’s it.
What is Perluxe?
It’s my own jewellery brand, created recently. I am a sea and ocean lover so I named it Perluxe because pearls are included in almost every single item of my collection.
Any new projects you are working on?
Yes, but I will reveal them at the right time.
What are some of your hobbies?
Horse-riding, reading, writing and shopping.
Three things that make you happy?
-Spending time with my family and friends.
-Taking care of my pets.
-Random acts of kindness.

What is your motto in life?
“Don’t say I wish, say I will”. It reminds me that nothing worth having comes easily. You have to work hard for it.
What has been the proudest moment of your life?
Every single moment in my life. I feel proud of myself and grateful for the person I have become because I have fought hard to develop into the best version of myself.
What is your dream or what would you like to achieve?
Speaking honestly, my only dream is to stay healthy and happy.
What other secret talents do you have?
Well I like acting but I don’t think it’s a secret anymore.
What is your fitness and beauty routine?
I try to eat healthy and exercise as much as possible.
How would you describe your fashion style?
Simple and elegant.
