ROKSANDA is excited to present its Summer/Spring 2023 Collection, which was showcased against the setting of the 21st Serpentine Pavilion ‘Black Chapel’ designed by Theaster Gates.
The longstanding inspiration behind the collection is the works of female visual artist Pipilotti Rist, with her bold, exquisite use of colour and impactful printmaking seen throughout the collection. Showcasing the designer’s ability to blend elegant tailoring with whimsical details, the brand’s signature rose symbol is taken to the next level with voluminous silhouettes with plenty of drama. From oversized blouses and trousers to billowing dresses and skirts, ROKSANDA has created a range of striking and wearable pieces.
The designer’s signature use of color blocking is also evident throughout the collection, with bold contrasting hues adding a graphic element to many of the looks. Another highlight of the collection is the exquisite use of fabrics, with luxurious silks and satins featuring heavily, adding a sense of fluidity and movement to the designs.
