As a woman entrepreneur in a field still gaining awareness locally, Dr. Bashayer faced challenges in establishing credibility. “I often had to prove myself twice as a physiotherapist and as a business leader,” she recalls. Recognition didn’t come easily, but consistency did. By focusing on purpose and letting the quality of her work speak louder than words, she built trust within both the medical community and the public. “Excellence is the best response to doubt,” she says.
Her work has had a ripple effect that extends beyond her clinic’s walls. She and her team have helped shift perceptions of physiotherapy in Kuwait from a reactive treatment to a proactive lifestyle practice. She plans to make physiotherapy and wellness more accessible via digital programs, workshops, and community initiatives, scaling her services while maintaining the personalised touch that defines her care. “Our goal is to empower more people to take control of their health before injury begins,” she explains. “It’s about combining empathy with innovation.”

Her advice to aspiring women entrepreneurs is simple yet profound: “Trust your expertise and believe in your vision. Challenges will come, but passion and perseverance will always set you apart.”
