‘Beijing is a key stage for PEUGEOT today. This motor show is not only about showcasing plans for future products, it is about reaffirming our ambition. China is a major driver of our global transformation, particularly in electrification, innovation and brand elevation. Today we are showcasing two new concept cars which demonstrate our vision for a bold new future for the brand, combining feline French design and driving pleasure with world-leading electric and intelligent technologies, for China and for our global market.’  Alain Favey, CEO PEUGEOT

French Design, Electric Future

At Beijing 2026, PEUGEOT presents a forward-looking vision that blends French flair, emotional design and cutting-edge electric and intelligent technologies. Faithful to its brand promise ‘Serious about pleasure’, the brand continues to elevate its positioning globally, placing emotion, excellence and innovation at the heart of its transformation.

The brand demonstrates its commitment to delivering vehicles that are distinctive, desirable and enjoyable to drive, fully aligned with the expectations of a new generation of customers. As part of this vision, PEUGEOT unveils two new concept cars in Beijing, offering a bold and tangible glimpse into the brand’s future.

Two Concept Cars Defining PEUGEOT’s Future

These two concept cars embody PEUGEOT’s ambition to push the boundaries of design, innovation and intelligent mobility, while remaining faithful to the brand’s core values of emotion and driving pleasure. More than design studies, they illustrate PEUGEOT’s capacity to anticipate future customer expectations and to shape a new generation of desirable, forward-looking vehicles for China and global markets.

PEUGEOT Concept 6 expresses the vision of a bold new generation of large sedans. Its feline silhouette merges the elegance of a sedan with the dynamism of a shooting brake, evoking PEUGEOT’s long heritage of grand tourer estates. Elegant and sporty, modern and timeless, Concept 6 reflects a refined and emotional approach to design, showcasing French flair and a strong sense of proportion.

PEUGEOT Concept 8 prepares the future of PEUGEOT’s large SUVs. Its pure and essential design suggests efficiency and aerodynamic performance, while its refined and powerful stance promises intuitive driving pleasure. Sporty and generous in proportions, Concept 8 announces the next chapter of PEUGEOT’s SUV ambition, embodying power, space and dynamism.

Together, PEUGEOT Concept 6 and Concept 8 embody the core values of the brand: sporty, agile and unmistakably expressive. In a world that is increasingly uniform, PEUGEOT chooses emotion, presence and meaning, favouring clarity over excess and character over noise.

Looking Ahead

PEUGEOT’s participation in the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show underlines its determination to shape the future of mobility on a global scale. With China as a key pillar of its strategy, the brand moves forward with confidence, drawing strength from its heritage while setting new standards for the future.

These new concept cars prefigure a new line-up of large sedans and SUVs, produced in China for China, as well as for export from China to Peugeot’s overseas markets, as part of the brand’s international growth plan. The cars will combine the best of Peugeot’s design flair and driving dynamics, with the excellence of technology from partner Dongfeng, who will produce the cars at its Wuhan plant.
