Zgombii is an emerging artist blending music, fashion, and visual identity into one distinct world. Known for his masked presence and bold aesthetic, he represents a new generation of creatives shaping culture through originality. In this conversation with CP Magazine, he speaks on Kuwait, expression, and building a voice beyond boundaries.

How would you describe Zgombii as both an artist and a visual identity?
Zgombii exists through both sound and image. Fashion is part of the language, not separate from the music. The way I present myself, the mask, the styling, the visuals, they all carry the same energy as the music.
Tell us about your journey in music.
My journey started with experimentation, trying to find a sound that felt honest. Over time, it became less about making tracks and more about building identity through music. Every phase shaped the character of Zgombii.
How has Kuwait influenced your artistry?
Kuwait has its own rhythm, even if people don’t always see it. There’s tension, ambition, underground culture, and stories that deserve a sound. That environment shaped a lot of how I create.

Do you believe Kuwait has a future in music?
Absolutely. The talent is here. The creativity is here. What’s growing now is infrastructure, collaboration, and confidence. I think Kuwait has real potential to contribute to the region’s future sound.
Where do fashion and music meet for you?
Both are forms of expression. A look can communicate before a lyric does. For me, fashion supports the world the music lives in.
What do you want to contribute to Kuwait’s music scene?
I want to help push originality. To show artists they don’t have to imitate, they can build from their own identity and still reach beyond Kuwait.

“Kuwait doesn’t lack talent, it’s building a voice.”
